We’re recruiting on behalf of a key client in the UK nuclear decommissioning space for an experienced Project Planner to join their team at Dungeness. This is a hands-on, site-based role supporting complex project delivery within the Project Management Office in close partnership with Nuclear Restoration Services.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a part in one of the UK’s most critical and technically complex sectors, contributing to nuclear decommissioning efforts that shape the future of energy and environmental safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage robust project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, ensuring alignment with project scope, delivery strategy, and contractual requirements.

  • Support the development and maintenance of Project Management Baselines (PMBs) and planning documentation.

  • Conduct quality assurance checks on schedule outputs, including assessment using industry metrics (e.g. DCMA 14-point analysis).

  • Translate scope into effective contract delivery and planning strategies.

  • Provide planning support on NEC contracts, assisting with contract administration and commercial inputs as required.

  • Engage with multiple stakeholders including project managers, commercial teams, and client representatives to ensure accurate and timely planning inputs.

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
