We regularly review the market to ensure our salaries are competitive. Transparency is important for us so, the salary bandings for each role on our competency framework are on display so everybody knows exactly where they are positioned relative to their peers.

We operate various commission and bonus schemes in our business, covering the recruitment, sales and support functions. Similar to the salary benchmarking exercises we undertake, we regularly review the market place to ensure we are competitive with the commission schemes we offer.

At present we have:

  • A contract recruitment scheme;
  • A permanent recruitment scheme;
  • A ‘new starter’ scheme (for recruiters with less than 2 years experience);
  • A People Manager scheme (recruitment managers);

The company is located on the outskirts of Birkenhead on the banks of the River Mersey and operates from a purpose built site solely occupied by Scantec. The advantage of the location is that free parking is available to all staff (the car park is secured before 8am and after 6pm, Monday to Friday). You can nip to the local shops which are less that 5 minutes away. We strongly believe this is good benefit for our staff in that there is ‘no cost’ of leaving their vehicles unattended during working hours.

At Scantec we have a private pension scheme which all staff are eligible to join. The scheme pre-dates ‘auto-enrolment’ and for many years the company has committed 5% employer’s contribution for all staff, this being above the current statutory requirement for the 2021/2022 tax year.
