The successful Production Supervisor will have previous experience of working in a production role within a food manufacturing facility and be experienced in leading a team. The Production Supervisor will be a strong leader used to dealing with disciplinary action, absences, holidays, appraisals, 1-1, training etc.
Production Supervisor Main Responsibilities:
Coach, mentor Team Leaders and Production team ensure all members are working correctly working safely to standards and practises.
Drive the achievement of KPI’s, delegate responsibilities to the team and be competent in making decisions under pressure.
Support in driving culture change within the Production department ensuring a focus on Health and Safety and Quality.
Drive a culture of ‘zero’ injuries and be accountable for ensuring each member is educated and trained in Health and Safety.
Regularly reviewing and updating Risk Assessments.
Make sure SOPs and SSOW are regularly reviewed, updated, trained out and audited.
Ensure all breakdowns are reported swiftly and accurately to minimise disruption and downtime.
Work collaboratively with the likes of Engineering, Technical, Hygiene and QA driving value for the business and the customer.
Ensure Production planning completed efficiently and utilise all resources effectively.
Be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping ensuring and ensure everyone is working to Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.
Meet and exceed all external and internal audit standards.
Be a positive representative for the company at all times.
Any other ad-hoc duties as required.
You will be an experienced Production Lead with a Quality and Customer focus, excellent leadership abilities, able to motivate and possessing strong communication skills.
You will have the ability to prioritise, make decisions and be able to work under pressure. You’ll have a logical, analytical mind-set with good problem solving skills, effective planning, organisation skills and good attention to detail.
