The Technical Coordinator will support, maintain and improve the quality and food safety management standards on the evening shift and will be responsible for auditing / updating systems ensuring the highest Technical and Quality standards are achieved and maintained.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience of Technical / Quality within a fast paced food manufacturing environment or a Food Science Graduate with a Technical or Quality placement experience within the food industry.
Technical Assistant responsibilities include:
Prepare microbiological samples / swabs / water samples and input data in to the necessary quality database
Audit production paper work and organise accordingly
Follow-up on any raw material issues
Carry out customer complaint investigations
Internal Audits such as GMP, Hygiene, Glass etc and report results
Conduct verification checks
Support with temperature monitoring checks when required
Report any Technical issues to Management
Support with Technical projects, implementing processes and procedures
Present Technical data cross-functionally
Attend daily SIC Meetings as required
Liaise with the day / night hygiene team regarding any cleaning / hygiene issues
You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to perform in a fast paced and pressurised environment with knowledge of basic food hygiene. You’ll be IT literate, possess good problem solving skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your workload.
