As a member of the cross‐functional leadership team, you will work alongside the HR Director to develop the most capable and empowered team. The successful HR BP will be CIPD qualified (ideally L5 or above) with previous experience in a generalist HR role within a fast paced FMCG food manufacturing or food service environment.
You will have demonstrable knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practice and experience of working collaboratively with Managers to coach performance and develop teams.
HR BP Responsibilities Include:
Develop and implement people engagement plans
Provide regular reporting on people KPI’s to Managers
Implement company’s policies
Ensure clear training and assessment is in place for each member of the team
Contribute to the cross‐functional leadership team, ensuring effective communication, supporting and driving communication and engagement
Support managers in recruitment processes including interview scheduling etc
Lead internal communication program for daily, weekly and monthly communication
Contribute towards the quarterly newsletter
Plan team events
Become a ‘super‐user’ of company systems rolling out training where necessary
Process any changes to payroll including issuing of all associated correspondence
Run payroll reports monthly, liaise with payroll provider and record all pay queries, investigate route cause and resolve issues
Regularly contribute to review and re‐launch of people policies
Ensure all people processes, correspondence and training activity reflects the company values
You will be a confident and effective communicator with the ability to develop relationships. You will have a positive approach, able to present compelling messages and influence others. You will be an excellent organiser with attention to detail, the ability to multi‐task and able to make difficult decisions.
