Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful Team Manager will be a hands-on individual able to assist in the business growth and have the ability to grow within this role.
Responsibilities of the Shift Manager include:
Supervision of production and warehouse teams.
Drive culture of change by coaching, mentoring and developing the team.
Ensure management and safety of the team and working environment including food safety, GMP and quality.
Execute the production plan.
Labour Cost / Efficiency delivery.
Manage team rota and holidays.
KPI reporting / systems, supporting a Lean environment.
Maintain consistent materials variance.
Meet operational, supply chain, quality and customer service demands.
Ensure adherence to product specifications and process parameters.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis.
Participation with continuous improvement projects.
Lead team briefing meetings.
Hold team performance reviews, training, disciplinary meetings and return to work process.
Ensure all EHS policies and procedures are followed.
