Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support a high-priority Defence project. This role focuses exclusively on electrical engineering and requires strong technical capability in LV/HV systems and associated infrastructure. Due to project timelines, this is an urgent requirement and suitable CVs need to be submitted as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver electrical engineering support across LV and HV installations.

Produce and review electrical calculations, including cable sizing and load assessments.

Support the design and specification of transformers, switchgear, and distribution boards.

Ensure designs comply with applicable Defence, site-specific, and electrical standards.

Engage with internal engineering teams, project managers, and safety specialists to ensure successful delivery.

Provide technical input throughout design, installation and commissioning phases.

Contribute to problem-solving, risk assessments, and engineering reviews.
Experience & Skills Required

Proven background as an Electrical Engineer working on complex infrastructure or defence-related projects.

Strong experience with LV/HV electrical systems, cabling design and calculations.

Knowledge of transformers, LV/HV distribution, protection, and power system layouts.

Ability to work within highly regulated environments (nuclear/defence experience advantageous).

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Requires existing SC clearance with eligibility for DV.
