Senior Engineering Manager

We’re looking for a skilled Engineering Manager with a proven track record in Engineering Leadership and a strong background in the Nuclear and Defence sectors. In this role, you’ll drive utilisation and profitability while fostering a culture of continuous improvement across high-profile projects.
This is a unique opportunity to influence the future of an established Engineering Department through strategic leadership, client optimisation, and commercial direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Engineering team and ensure output is in line with company goals
- Develop and grow an established team of Engineers including
- Manage and assign Engineering resource to multiple projects
- Performance reviews & appraisals
- Training/upskilling practices
- Recruitment
- Contribute to overall direction of Engineering Department
- Update and upkeep of Engineering Library
- Ensure fluid communication between clients and Engineering Department for all client matters.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10 years’ experience in Engineering project delivery roles
- SC clearance is preferrable for this role and the successful candidate must be willing to obtain DV clearance
- Relevant Degree/HND qualified
- CDM Regulations
- NEBOSH
