A leading FMCG Manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Shift Production Manager to join their team. This role will lead a small team and ensure operational performance through efficient and effective use of plant and people resources whilst maintaining Good Manufacturing Practice. You will be responsible for driving and improving production, Health and Safety and Quality standards ensuring the site meets regulations and industry standards.

This role will be a three week rotating shift (Mon- Fri), week of mornings, week of afternoons, week of nights. C. 8 hour shifts.
Food Manufacturing, Pet food or an Agricultural background is essential for this role.

Shift Production Manager responsibilities include:

Lead and improve Overall Equipment Efficiencies (OEE) for all the production lines.
Minimise waste through continuous Improvements.
Manage and develop direct reports, including; succession planning, identifying gaps and training needs and ensuring personal development plans are in place and reviewed
Set, monitor and be accountable for the manufacturing budget
Undertake any specific projects

You will be a Shift Production Manager, ideally HNC qualified / equivalent in a Food Science, Agriculture or proven relevant experience and have experience in a production or engineering role in food / feed process operations, including the management of people and production units.
