A leading FMCG manufacturer based in the Nottingham area is currently seeking an NPD Project Coordinator to be responsible for low complex projects from initial brief.

The successful New Product Development Project Coordinator will work collaboratively with internal functions to ensure successful product delivery and will be the interface between the customer and the company R&D and production sites.

This role will also require support to the Project Managers therefore providing exposure to delivery and implementation of high value, complex projects which will enable opportunity to progress into a Project Management role.

Responsibilities of the NPD Coordinator include:
Responsible for receiving an initial and detailed customer project brief
Ensure all requirements and customer assumptions are fully understood and agreed
Capture feedback from internal stakeholders and communicate findings to the Account Manager to enable the negotiation stage to commence.
Be the customer interface for the business and effectively maintain and manage the relationship.
Provide project status reports for internal and external requirements throughout the project phases.
Be responsible for managing and tracking all development project costs ensuring they are recovered from the customer.
Ensure an accurate and efficient completion of the stage gate process.
Be accountable for ensuring project reviews are finalised and any corrective actions are completed.

You will have experience of coordinating projects ideally within a fast paced FMCG environment (food, pharma, personal care, consumer goods etc) with Financial, Commercial and Supply Chain awareness.

You will be a completer / finisher and an influencer with a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, along with strong problem solving abilities. You will be a team player but with the ability to work on own initiative as and when required.
