Managing a team of Material Schedulers, the Interim Materials Manager will oversee the management and supply of raw materials to site in line with the production and NPD plans. In addition, the Interim Materials Manager will provide support and direction for the development of processes across the supply chain planning function.
The supply base is complex with multiple suppliers across the UK, Europe and the Far East therefore complex planning and capacity knowledge is essential to ensure best practice in stock management. Knowledge of procurement would be an advantage but not essential.
You will be a professional supply chain interim with a bias towards material and capacity planning. You may have held a Purchasing management position including materials management within a fast paced FMCG manufacturing environment.
