Supply Chain Manager responsibilities include:
Manage relationships with key transport and warehouse providers inc. rate negotiations
Oversee department of 4-5 transport staff
Set and monitor stock levels, call-offs
Keep Commercial team up-to-date on transport and warehouse rates
Develop and implement Warehousing and transport strategy
Set and adhere budgets for transport and logistics
HMRC submissions including classifying goods, bonded goods, duty deferment supervision
Provision of transport and warehouse management information to senior managers
Evaluation and approval of new service providers
Responsible for various parts of our BRC policy and implementation
You will be a Supply Chain Manager with international import & Export experience within a food based product. Knowledge of SAP Business ByDesign will be deemed advantageous.
