A leading FMCG Food Manufacturer is seeking a Factory Supervisor to be responsible all aspects of Operational Excellence, Health and Safety, along with motivating, managing and developing the team.

Reporting into the Operations Manager, the successful Production Supervisor will have previous experience of working in a supervisory production role within a fast paced food manufacturing facility. You will be a strong leader used to dealing with the likes of disciplinary action, absences, holidays, appraisals, 1-1, training etc.

Factory Supervisor Responsibilities include:
Coach, mentor team leaders and the production team ensuring all members are working correctly and safely to standards and practises.
Drive the achievement of KPI’s.
Delegate responsibilities to the team.
Support in driving culture change within the Production department ensuring a focus on Quality and Health & Safety.
Drive a culture of ‘zero’ injuries and be responsible for ensuring each member is educated and trained in Health & Safety.
Regularly reviewing and updating Risk Assessments.
Make sure SOPs and SSOW are regularly reviewed, updated, trained out and audited.
Ensure all breakdowns are reported quickly to minimise disruption and downtime.
Work collaboratively with the teams across Engineering, Technical, Hygiene and QA.
Ensure Production planning is completed efficiently.
Be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping ensuring all the team are working to Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.
Meet and exceed all external and internal audit standards.
Be a positive representative for the company at all times.
Any other ad-hoc duties as required.

You will be an experienced Production Lead with a Quality and Customer focus, strong communication skills and excellent leadership. You will have the ability to motivate, prioritise, make decisions and be able to work under pressure. You’ll have a logical, analytical mind-set with good problem solving skills, effective planning, organisation skills and good attention to detail.
