The electrically biased maintenance engineer will maintain and repair all equipment in the relevant department.
Maintenance Engineer / Electrical engineer key responsibilities:
Attend to breakdowns, rectifying problems to enable continued production (including vac packing machines, vac pumps, film over-wrapping machines, slicing machines, labellers, pneumatics, nitrogen equipment, air blasts and steam cookers)
Electrical fault finding and maintenance (PLC's, inverters, stop/start control circuits)
Maintain and service temperature control equipment.
Identify opportunities for improvements to the department.
Be a site ambassador at all times, behaving in a professional and courteous manner with both internal and external customers.
Undertake other jobs as reasonably requested within the scope of the job to improve the running of the department.
You will ideally be HNC / equivalent qualified within an Engineering discipline and have experience working as a Multi skilled maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias in an FMCG Manufacturing environment.
You will have experience of electrical fault finding and working with PLC's and ideally experience working in the food manufacturing industry.
