A leading FMCG manufacturer is currently seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead, develop and motivate a manufacturing site. Reporting into the Head of Operations the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing a long term business strategy by developing and delivering improvement plans in a high speed, Lean manufacturing environment.

Manufacturing Manager responsibilities:

Provide leadership, direction and support to the site.
Development of the annual manufacturing strategy.
Set objectives and monitor for the manufacturing teams ensuring these are
communicated and understood.
Reporting to the Head of Operations you will lead a team of First Line Managers in Production and Engineering.
Be accountable for the Department’s day to day performance for safety, quality, delivery, cost, innovation and engagement of team members
You will play a key role in the personal development of your team creating and supporting succession plans.
As well as setting and managing the departmental budget, the successful candidate will lead the continuous drive towards improved efficiencies, labour utilisation and innovation.
You be comfortable working cross functionally, engaging with key stakeholders to drive operational performance and achieve the business objectives.

You will ideally be a degree qualified / equivalent Manufacturing Manager with a proven track record in a High speed manufacturing environment with strong leadership with ability to engage and enthuse an experienced management team, ability to drive culture changes and embed new processes.
