A leading FMCG manufacturer is currently seeking a Quality Technician as part of their on-going growth and investment plans. Reporting in the Quality Manager, you would have the responsibilty to complete laboratory tests to positively release all process and finished product samples.

No previous QA / QC experience is neccessary as full training and guidance will be given. We are looking for a willingness to learn and enthusiasm to work in QA. The Ideal candidate will have a production, manufacturing or distribution background and be keen on developing their skills in Quality function.

Shifts: 4on, 4off days & nights
6am-6pm / 6pm-6am

Quality Technician – Summary of responsibilities:
  • Complete the daily quality reports
  • Conduct process control tests and feed the results back to the operator
  • Conduct daily audits on key quality documents
  • To measure key quality controls on finished baled products against a defined specification, positively release based on the results and highlight any non-conforming products
Sklls and experience required:
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to follow written methods and procedures methodically (after training).
Comfortable working with numbers and providing simple written reports.
Knowledge of Microsoft, in particular Excel.
Ability to multitask and prioritise.
Confidence to work independently.
