A leading FMCG Manufacturer in the Manchester area is currently seeking a Logistics Analyst / Import Export Coordinator to work on an initial 12 month contract.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager the Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for all import and export paperwork, data management, reporting and analysis as well as shipment execution.

The Import Export / Logistics Analyst will play a pivotal role within the team and will be the crucial link to Supply Chain. You will have experience in Supply Chain within FMCG manufacturing with knowledge of export administration or Supply Chain execution ideally with knowledge of export procedures and documentation.

Key Responsibilities of the Logistics Analyst / Coordinator:
Data input into company systems including the likes of production, claims and incident data, payment and inventory data.
Preparing invoice, credit and billing reports.
Create budget and cost reports.
Collate performance metric reports.
Collect, prepare and monitor shipment documentation, bill of lading, statement of fact, certificate of origin container inventory etc.
Prepare and forward regulatory forms such as customs documentation and export certificates.
Ensure that all paperwork relating to shipment incidents and claims are collated and filed.

You will be PC literate with Microsoft Office and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills. You’ll be a clear communicator and a team player with the ability to work on your own initiative. SAP experience would be highly advantageous.

Although the role is on a Fixed Term Contract basis, there may be opportunity for this to become a permanent position.
