The successful Warehouse Administration Clerk will support the Warehouse Manager in all administrative tasks, working closely with warehouse, planning, materials, customer service and transport teams.
The Warehouse Administrator will ideally have 2- 3 years experience in a similar role within FMCG in a food, pharma or chemicals environment and be intermediate to advanced level in Excel.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Administrator include:
Ensure the accuracy of finished goods recording and reporting using the companies system and assist in identifying areas of weakness.
Daily checks on completion from production, rectify any variances and work cross functionally to reduce errors and drive continuous improvement.
Validate stock certificates of all 3PL service providers and ensure that the company system accurately reflects the authorised transactions of these warehouses at all times.
Streamline the Warehouse reporting systems assisting in the reduction of unnecessary paperwork and seek to improve the accuracy of reporting.
Provide agreed management reports to facilitate more effective management control of the day to day functions of the Warehouse and associated 3PL’s.
Be responsible for effective filing and archive storage.
Resolve and handle any queries in a professional, courteous and timely manner.
Work closely with Goods in and Logistics with regards to purchased materials and dealing with any discrepancies.
Problem solving and measuring results of improvement and input procedures to prevent re-occurrence.
Physical spot checks where necessary.
Ensure all scheduled reports are completed on time and log and report on data.
Ensure communication within the business and with external bodies.
Carry out general administration tasks as required.
Undertake change with regard to the requirements of the department and business in general and maintain a continuous improvement environment.
Deputise for departmental absences.
