Wrexham, Oswestry, Whitchurch, Shrewsbury, North Wales, Cheshire, Shropshire.

A leading FMCG manufacturer is currently seeking a Planning Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for management of 4 direct reports and cover Production, Materials, Stock and Packaging Planning for the business.

Planning Manager responsibilities include:

Provide production schedules based on sales forecasts
Communicate long-term forecast supporting purchasing activity
Level production load through scheduling of production for stock
Regulate finished good stock variance both in and out, including stock control and logistics
Run reports through MPS and MRP
Manage planning communication

You will be a Planning Manager / Senior Planner used to working within a high paced manufacturing environment and have experience of developing Planning systems. You will be fully conversant with all aspects of Production Planning, MRP/ERP & Excel, Forecasting, Capacity Planning and comfortable with financial analyses, costings, management accounts.
