Permanent opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant within our Scientific division. This role will be based in the Wirral but with hybrid working between the office and home.

Scantec’s Scientific team have a new opportunity for a 360 Recruitment Consultant to join their existing team of experts. The scientific industry is a fascinating and constantly evolving sector currently undergoing much investment and as such presenting a wealth of opportunity to grow your desk. As a Recruitment Consultant in our Scientific team, you will build relationships with a wide range of clients and candidates from across the Scientific sector including pharmaceutical, medical, and chemical industries to understand their individual and business needs and facilitate the end-to-end recruitment process.
Day to day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
- Identifying new business opportunities through client mapping and chasing leads
- Arranging and attending client meetings
- Identifying and attracting talented candidates using a range of sourcing methods
- Developing candidate and client networks
- Managing the end to end recruitment process from job registration to shortlisting, interview and offer management
- Maintenance of the recruitment database for commercial gain
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role, you should have prior recruitment experience or a background in scientific/pharmaceutical sales with a desire to step in to a recruitment role. You will need to work commercially as well as demonstrating initiative and a positive attitude. You will be a self-starter with the drive and desire to succeed. We are looking for someone who is a team player and who is passionate about quality and delivery of service.
This role will require some UK travel so a driving licence will be required.
