A Global FMCG Manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Technician to join the business. This position will be on an initial 6 month Fixed term contract which may be extended and could possibly become permanent. It is to cover absence in the team.

This role is inside IR35, will need a start date asap and be working Monday to Friday Days.

Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Technician responsibilities:
All planned maintenance tasks.
Permitting compliance with safety requirements and liaison and coordination with other Departments as required.
Ensures equipment, materials and tools are on-hand for work execution.
Reports resources and time utilized, job scope expansion, rework or deferred maintenance as required whilst keeping all tasks & activities logged and up-dated.
Equipment Problems Trouble-shooting and Basic Root Cause Analysis and Development of Solutions.
Provide Technical Support to all machine breakdowns and changeovers

You will be BTEC / equivalent qualified and be experienced in Mechanical Maintenance Engineering within an FMCG Manufacturing environment. This role will require Critical thinking and Analytical skills as well as Complex problem solving skills.
