The successful Quality Assurance Technician will have exposure to all areas of production and lab from a quality perspective and will be responsible for all quality assurance issues as well as ensuring the site is audit ready at all times.
Seeking a Food Science graduate with some industry experience during placement; or someone currently working in a Quality Assurance or Technical role within fast paced food manufacturing.
Responsibilities for the QA Technician include:
Ensure materials and products are handled in a hygienic environment, in line with products specs, compliance and food legislation.
Ensure good hygiene and house keeping standards are maintained at all times.
Carry out Quality duties as outlined by the QA Supervisor.
Take part in all continuous improvement projects relevant to Quality/Technical.
Be aware of individual product requirements and acknowledge any problems specific to each product.
You will be a reliable, flexible, self motivated individual with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in different environments including lab, factory and office. You’ll possess excellent communication skills enabling you to converse at all levels.
