A leading FMCG Manufacturer in the Manchester area is currently seeking an Import / Export Administrator to take rresponsibility for all import and export paperwork, data management, reporting and analysis; as well as shipment execution.

Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, this position is a crucial link to Supply Chain and is an excellent opportunity for an emerging Supply Chain professional to be involved in Supply Chain administration / coordination.

Key Responsibilities of the Import / Export Coordinator:
Data input into company systems including the likes of production, claims and incident data, payment and inventory data.
Preparing invoice, credit and billing reports.
Create budget and cost reports.
Collate performance metric reports.
Collect, prepare and monitor shipment documentation, bill of lading, statement of fact, certificate of origin container inventory etc.
Prepare and forward regulatory forms such as customs documentation and export certificates.
Ensure that all paperwork relating to shipment incidents and claims are collated and filed.

You will have experience in Supply Chain within the food, pharma or chemicals industry with knowledge of import and export administration or Supply Chain execution. You will be PC literate with Microsoft Office and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills. You’ll ideally have knowledge of export procedures and documentation and be a clear communicator.

You will be a team player with the ability to work on your own initiative. SAP experience would be highly advantageous but not mandatory.
