A leading FMCG Food Manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) / Temporary Electrically biased Engineer to join their Team. Reporting into the Engineering Shift Manager, this role will carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and reduce quality issues. Driving continuous improvement of all machinery, equipment and ways of working in line with business strategy is key as well as compliance with legislative, business and site procedures and practices.

This role Double Days and work 5 out of 7 days on rotation 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm.

This role will require former Food / Drink / Personal Care / Pharmaceutical / Medical Device Manufacturing experience. Food or Drink Manufacturing experience will be deemed advantageous.

Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Engineer responsibilities include:

Fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs of plant and site service equipment
Planned maintenance and Maintenance requests.
Adherence to statutory checks
Adherence to GMP
Involvement in CI and Capital projects
Upkeep of stores
Upkeep of all Engineering Technical documentation.
Support and coach relevant employees in all aspects of shared maintenance
Deliver effective communication Engineering meetings and handovers
