A leading FMCG Manufacturer in the Somerset area is now seeking an Employer Brand & Engagement Manager to be responsible for developing a colleague attraction strategy, ensuring the business has vital talent and skills as they continue to grow; and to establish the business as an employer of choice.

Reporting to the Head of People you will have experience in delivering change as an HR Specialist or Generalist with responsibility for engagement and employee experience, ideally within an FMCG environment.

The successful Employer Brand and Engagement Manager will have a positive approach, the ability to manage multiple projects and a desire to witness people grow. You will be able to influence others with a passion for building engagement and working collaboratively to deliver the best possible experience for colleagues and candidates.

Employer Brand & Engagement Manager Responsibilities Include:
Identify the talent requirement for the business.
Create strategies to develop and attract people with the skills to deliver the company growth plan.
Drive engagement with local schools, colleges, local community organisations and authorities, ensuring the business is active in the area; and develop an understanding of the local employment landscape.
Build recruitment strategies that extent out to appropriate groups to attract candidates to build a sustainable and world class workforce to support the future of the business.
Review the current selection process to identify applicants against targeted skills and competencies, balancing cost efficiency with effectiveness.
Build the company employer brand both internally and externally through communication campaigns and work collaboratively with the Marketing Team on local advertising, sponsorship and PR activities.
Work with the wider HR team to develop / monitor processes to understand progress and opportunities for talent development, including survey, appraisals and performance monitoring and put in place effective improvement action plans.

You'll have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships and effectively communicate ideas both internally and externally. You will be a curious individual, able to challenge for the very best outcome.

You will be insightful, enthusiastic and driven with the ability to generate captivating messages that engage the team and wider communities and able to use feedback to determine trends, get to the root of issues quickly and create plans that will positively impact people performance.

You will be self-motivated with excellent attention to details and organisational skills.
