A leading FMCG Food Manufacturer is currently recruiting for an Engineering Shift Manager to join their Team. Reporting into the Engineering Manager, this role will ensure the delivery of Engineering support across a 24/7 manufacturing site on a daily basis support & coach engineering teams in meeting department standards.
This role will require former Food / Drink / Personal Care / Pharmaceutical / Medical Device Manufacturing experience. Food or Drink Manufacturing experience will be deemed advantageous. This role will work 4 on 4 off 12 hour days.

Engineering Shift Manager responsibilities include:

Deputise for the site Engineering manager, and first point of call outside of normal working hours for issues
Lead a team of circa 20 within the Engineering function.
Support the positive development of the site’s Health & Safety culture, ensuring compliance with statutory and company H&S requirements.
Identify, assess and control H&S and other risks.
Cross department collaboration to support the delivery of the site manufacturing plan against the budgeted targets and volumes, ensuring achievement of standards in all areas.
You will be an Engineering Shift Manager with a proven track record in leading an Engineering Team within a Food / Drink / equivalent manufacturing environment.
You will require Multi Skilled experience and be IT literate.
