The Quarry Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of two quarries with particular focus on Health, Safety and Environmental compliance, quality assurance, operational efficiency and continuous improvement. They will also be responsible for the management and development of approximately 14 operational staff across both sites. Responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to:
- Quarry extraction
- Soil stripping
- Managing community relations
- Site health, safety and environmental responsibilities
- 45001,9001,14001 quality audits
The Quarry Manager should have a previous track record in running quarries and a background in aggregate industries.
The successful candidate will have (or be working towards) a level 6 QCF SHE qualification, WAMITAB level 4, IOSH Managing safely, Geotechnical level 4 award and extensive knowledge of the 1999 Quarry regulations.
