This role will require someone with a proven track record of implementing Cultural and Operations Change within a Food / Drink / Agricultural manufacturing environment and with blending/ extrusion process experience.
A CI qualification will be deemed advantageous. This role is working in an automated manufacturing environment where an Engineering and Quality acumen is essential.
Shift Production Manager responsibilities:
Ensure focus for all personnel on safety, food safety and quality within an area at all times
Headcount; ensure the right people are in the right places and complements are managed appropriately
Costing Controls; ensure department cost is managed appropriately
Lead process improvements and cost savings and be the project owner for their area and ensure time scales are met and improvement will be seen
Completing any health and safety documentation appertaining to the shift.
Weekly Review of targets, Key Performance Indicators and drive improvements/challenge where appropriate
You will be a Shift Production Manager with a proven track record of implementing Cultural and Operations Change within a high paced FMCG Food / Drink / Agricultural Manufacturing environment.
