Due to increased market activity, Scantec currently have a unique opportunity for an experienced and ambitious white-collar contracts recruiter to join our Engineering team as a 360 Recruitment Consultant working alongside our existing team of experts. Our Engineering team is one of our flagship divisions and is going from strength to strength. As such we’re looking for a driven individual to join the team and make an impact.
The desk is a technical “White Collar” contracts desk and has a real consultative feel. You will be recruiting across sectors such as Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Petrochemicals and Chemical Refineries and a range of specialist engineering disciplines so adaptability is key. While you will benefit from some strong client relationships and the support of experienced colleagues, you will also be expected to develop your business by building long lasting client and candidate relationships and taking a consultative and commercial approach in this market. With the right person at the helm, this desk has real potential.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role, you will need prior white-collar contracts recruitment experience, ideally within a technical market and you will need to work consultatively, advising your clients and fully understanding your market. Alongside this, it is essential that you are credible with strong influencing and negotiation skills as well as a pro-active, solutions orientated approach and a real desire to succeed. Our Engineering team are supportive and collaborative, so we are looking for someone who is a team player with a tenacious, positive attitude and who is passionate about quality and delivery of service.
This role will require some UK travel so a driving licence will be required.
