Role: Project Controls Manager

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum plus car allowance

Scantec are working with a global company who are currently supporting a number of high profile projects in the Nuclear and Defence sector.

As such, a new opportunity has become available for an experienced Project Controls Manager to support a high profile project in the Nuclear sector, based in Bridgwater.

You will be joining an existing Project Controls team and you will manage the development, implementation, use and maintenance of Project Controls processes within the Programme or a subdivision 

This will include oversight of day to day management, staffing, and the implementation of Integrated Project Controls standards and processes.

You will be responsible for the direction and co-ordination of all Project Controls activities associated with the design, manufacture, construction and commissioning of the Programme work scope within safety, quality, time and cost milestones.

Please note, although there may be flexibility available in terms of working location, we would advise that you were able to commute to Bridgewater as and when required.

In order to be considered for this role, you will have gained the following experience:
  • Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, which include schedule development, control, and analysis, in the field and the home office Skilled in oral and written communication.
  • Proficiency with PC operating systems, with proficiency in several basic software applications Proficiency with multiple discipline specific software applications such as Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office Applications, for example Intermediate level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes Knowledge of engineering and construction management.
