Our Client is a global design, engineering and management consulting company. Due to an increase in work they are seeking the services of a Civils Project Engineer to support them on a contract basis.
The work will be split between remote working and the Manchester office.
The works are predominately signalling lead, however will require a level of Civil Engineering works.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team supporting the primary Engineering function to deliver signalling schemes.

Gantry / signal renewals on the West Coast Main Line and Cumbrian Coast. Some of these steelwork gantries are notable structures with challenging access / site constraints. The programme for a number of gantries is quite tight, with a view of installing these structures in May 2021.
The ideal candidate will have;
- Experience in delivering signalling schemes and also familiar with multi-disciplinary ancillary works including; re-signalling / control works and Level Crossings.
- Good knowledge of Structural and Geotechnical design requirements and be able to support the endorsement of F001s, F002s and F003s.
- Confidence to present F001 submissions to the NR RAM team for endorsement as and when required.
- Familiarisation with Network Rail standards
£400-500 per day (outside IR35) - depending upon experience.
