A leading food manufacturer in the Bedfordshire area is currently seeking an S&OP Manager to join their fast paced operation.

The successful candidate will be an experienced S&OP Planning Manager with knowledge of the Food Manufacturing industry and previous experience in Supply, Demand, and Production Planning.

This is a key role to the business playing a vital part in guaranteeing availability of materials and finished goods in the most proficient and cost effective way. You’ll be responsible for delivering operational KPIs, identifying improvements and developing processes and procedures. You will also be accountable for maintaining quality and working collaboratively with Purchasing, Commercial and Production.

S&OP Manager Responsibilities include:
Drive and improve S&OP plan.
Work collaboratively with Planning, Commercial/Sales, Logistics and Production to ensure accurate forecast and resolve any supply chain risks that may arise.
Monitor supply chain performance and drive continuous improvement projects.
Monitor stock levels.
Ensure raw materials are delivered on time.
Work closely with Customer Services to ensure deliveries and monitor customer satisfaction at all times.
Lead forecast, planning and performance review meetings and service level reporting.
Point of contact for analysis and data.

You will be a motivational, persuasive, customer-focused leader with an analytical and logical mind-set along with excellent problem solving and communication skills.
