My client are an expanding multi-national logistics provider specialising in Fuel storage and distribution, with over 15 sites across the UK operating 24/7.
They are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their Maintenance Team across the East Anglia Region, responsible for ensuring maintenance is planned and executed safely and effectively.
The Maintenance Technician will support all plant operations whilst maximising plant availability through effective best practice maintenance, they will also liaise with Technical Authorities to implement reliability improvement initiatives and assist with the development and organisation of process equipment maintenance procedures, documentation and information.
The Maintenance Technician will be COMPEX qualified with a relevant apprenticeship or associated qualifications, including those associated with Safety Management and controlling maintenance activity on an Upper Tier COMAH Site. They will be experienced in:
• Maintenance of rotating and fixed mechanical equipment
• Conducting condition monitoring as part of the rotating equipment section
• Writing procedures and work instructions
• Developing and implementing plans
• Managing small projects
Due to the nature of the business, availability for available for overtime for out of hours breakdowns and emergencies will be necessary.
A clean driving licence and be availability to work at various sites across East Anglia as required is essential.
