A leading FMCG food manufacturer is currently seeking a Hygiene Supervisor / Hygiene Team leader to join their team.
Reporting into the Hygiene Manager, this role will require a strong technical knowledge (chemical providers etc), a strong drive and structure to help take the team to the next level. This role will be 12 hour shifts, days and nights.

This role would suit a Hygiene Manager who is from a smaller site / environment keen to join a global business, a Hygiene Team leader or even a Hygiene Supervisor who may have moved into QA and wish to move back.

Hygiene Supervisor / Hygiene Team Leader responsibilities include:

Lead the Hygiene Team on shift
Ensure all planned cleans are completed to a high standard.
Have day to day control of all aspects of the hygiene areas.
Ensure all scheduled cleans are completed and communicated.
Work closely with production and technical teams to drive site quality and safety.
Participate in HACCP meetings
Ensure all quality control checks are completed and issues dealt with.
Monitor effectiveness of cleans in conjunction of labour costs with a view to continuous improvements.
Work within set budgets.
Ensure that a relevant training plan is in place and agreed for all staff under their control.
Monitor all key performance indicators.
Ensure that cleaning is conducted in a food safe manner.
Ensure that labour is available along with equipment available when required.
You will be a Hygiene Supervisor / Hygiene Team Leader used to working in a food manufacturing environment with excellent communication and team building skills with experience of cleaning chemicals, and cleaning techniques.
You must have knowledge of risk assessments, an understanding all safety issues regarding the areas and machinery and appropriate knowledge to influence and facilitate the continued improvement of all Production.
