The successful Production Shift Manager will have demonstrable experience of managing, coaching and mentoring a team within a fast paced food manufacturing environment. You will be a dynamic, passionate, confident leader with the ability to influence and problem solve.
Area Manager Responsibilities:
Lead, coach and mentor the production team supporting with their continued development and training.
Ensure regular formal communication and lead team briefing meetings.
Identify efficiency improvements and support to implement changes.
Reduce waste in all areas including labour, raw materials and energy costs.
Monitor causes of downtime and develop actions to resolve.
Ensure all risk assessments are completed and continually strive to reduce risk within the production area.
Take full ownership for product quality in the day to day running of the department.
