The successful Supply Planner will be first point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders and responsible for generating, managing and communicating service and supply to all customers across internal departments including customer services, production and commercial.
Responsibilities of the Supply Planner include:
Generate, maintain and communicate service trackers internally and externally.
Report on weekly performance.
Provide Short Interval Control to improve service working closely with customer service and monitor daily production performance and stock levels.
Direct Customer service on best actions for projected shorts.
Collate data on orders above forecast and communicate with both Demand Planning and Commercial with a view to amending forecast if required.
Manage restatement process to offer true measure of customer service.
Measure and report customer service KPI.
Create a live 6 week service issue list, identifying root causes and drive improvements
Communicate service issues across relevant departments and customer supply chains in regular meetings.
Create a 3 month service issue summary highlighting pinch points to feed into S&OP
Identify patterns and trends in service, supply issues and root causes for regular review by the SC Management Team.
Support with production planning as and when needed.
The successful candidate will have an analytical mind-set with a keen eye for detail and a passion for problem solving, along with advanced Excel skills. You will be a confident communicator with 2 or more years experience as a Supply Planner within the FMCG manufacturing industry with customer facing experience.
