Food Manufacturing experience will be essential for this role.
Product Manager / Product Marketing Manager Responsibilities include:
Identify and target branded sales and NPD opportunities by customer, bearing in mind factory capabilities.
Develop and implement targeted customer/channel brand business plans, providing marketplace intelligence to customers to assist with Category development.
Achieve business objectives on a day to day basis whilst achieving individual and departmental KPI’s.
Ensure the development of excellent internal branded stakeholder relations with Operations, Purchasing, NPD, Technical, Supply Chain and Finance departments. Develop and implement targeted customer business plans with accurate and realistic sales forecasts.
Manage, develop and execute and monitor forecasts, account portfolio sales and growth plans v budget and put in corrective measure where necessary sales fall below projections, providing weekly and monthly sales analysis
Meet customer expectations and excellent service levels through forecasting and stock level management managing day to day challenges
Facilitate regular communication into for key brand customer performances.
Grow and maximise the share of branded product portfolios with existing and new customers. Ensuring no reduction in market share in branded key categories.
Develop and manage the appropriate pipeline of potential new customers, updating on progress and forthcoming tenders account set up, and agreeing , using the agreed costing mechanisms.
Work closely with branded category partners to gain excellent knowledge of market trends, key competitor and category dynamics in order to develop and deliver aligned category plans for the customer
Ownership of the completion and accuracy of the retailer administration and system inputs.
Delivery of branded and retailer brand initiatives as required by the business – and as developed with the customer.
You will be a Product Marketing Manager, ideally with own label and brand experience within a food manufacturing environment. Chilled or frozen experience will be deemed advantageous.
