Reporting to the MD, the H & S Lead will be responsible for driving the Health and Safety agenda using influencing skills to engage and work closely with key stakeholders.
You will be NEBOSH qualified with experience within FMCG food manufacturing. You’ll have experience of strategic planning and demonstrable experience of implementing policies and procedures; as well as driving cultural changes.
Key Responsibilities of the H&S Manager include:
Primary lead for all Health & Safety activities
Support the implementation of the company Health & Safety Policies and support / maintain legal compliance
Liaise with authorities and external bodies
Organise audits and monthly inspections
Review / sign off risk assessments, COSHH, PUWER and SSOW
Ensure fire risk assessments and review any actions
Support management team with accident investigations
Input accidents and any near miss data
Chair the HSE meetings
Ensure the site meets all Health & Safety requirement
Project management, supervision and coordination of all work carried out by contractors relating to site services
