Based in Runcorn
Hours are 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 1.00pm on a Friday.
A successful company based in Runcorn who have been established for over 200 years are looking to appoint an additional QA Officer within their Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance function.
The successful candidate will have experience in Regulatory and Quality Assurance from a Pharmaceutical or FMCG / Food setting with additional experience in batch release, QMS, CAPA’s, Deviations, Change Control, customer complaints, non-conformances and GMP to be able to provide support to the wider Quality Assurance team as and when needed alongside Regulatory duties.
The successful candidate will be dealing with ever changing Regulatory requirements from different markets, countries and customers. Should there be a No-deal Brexit there will also be a need to update Export Documents.
In addition the successful candidate will be ensuring raw materials comply with the relevant legislation and forming good working relationships with raw materials suppliers and purchasing.
Work alongside Manufacturing, New Product Development and QC departments to ensure all finished products fully comply with the customer’s expectations and regulatory requirements.
The role itself is office based and will be joining an existing well established QA team.

Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a QA / Quality Assurance role ideally in the Pharmaceutical industry. Any additional experience in BRC standards would be desirable however training will be provided.
- Experience in Regulatory Affairs from either Pharmaceutical or FMCG / Food
- Experience of CAPAs, customer complaints, deviations, change control and cGMP.
- Good communication and IT skills
- Attention to detail is paramount
- Good knowledge of EU and UK regulations and guidelins
- Able to take a methodical approach to your workload
