An excellent opportunity has arisen with our Client in Manchester.  They provide Engineering services across a variety of sectors, including commercial, highways, education and nuclear.

  • The design of sustainable drainage schemes and highways for a wide range of commercial, residential and industrial projects at sites all over the country
  • Undertaking drainage and highway designs using software such as AutoCad, AutoTrak, Civils 3D, Revit and Micro Drainage
  • Preparing drawings from feasibility through to detailed design and construction
  • Carrying out site inspections and surveys
  • Working in a team with experienced engineers and technicians
  • This is a full-time, permanent position, normally based in our office in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, however we are currently adopting flexible working patterns in light of the current COVID-19 guidelines
Qualifications Required
  • HNC/D in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Skills & Behaviours
  • Interest in the design of infrastructure for the built environment
  • Experience of using CAD on the design of infrastructure for at least 2 years
  • Good numerical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The aptitude to work on your own initiative and be proactive
  • Planned and organised approach to work and meeting deadlines
  • Commitment to the successful delivery of projects and meeting the needs of our Clients, the development of the team and business as a whole
  • A full drivers licence would be an advantage
