The position will be reporting directly to the Production Manager and ideal candidate will have knowledge of EH&S procedures required to comply with current legislations and customer standards. Individual will be committed, self‐motivated and have good communication skills.
The EH&S role and responsibility:
‐ Provide support to all departments in all aspects of Health & Safety ensuring full compliance
‐ Produce reports and presentations for senior management and colleagues within Plenmeller site and across wider estate
‐ Asses risk and adjust working procedures where appropriate in line with Company policy and the prescribed legal framework
‐ Chair monthly Health and Safety meetings with Senior Management and appointed personnel
‐ Maintain systems which demonstrate our compliance with Willis Blue standards and implement recommendations
‐ Provide input to the 6 monthly Health & Safety Management Forum to report performance and to share best practices
‐ Ensure contractors and visitors comply with Health & Safety regulations on site
‐ Organise and record Health & Safety training
‐ Assist and verify all accidents investigations ensuring all corrective actions are implemented
‐ Promote safe healthy working practices with latest materials and evidence from HSE
