Reliability Manager / Maintenance Reliability Manager responsibilities:
Focus on longer term asset up-time as much as previous causes of downtime.
Reliability of the factories assets are fundamental to on going success of the business.
Be highly collaborative and influential working with Operations, Technical, Finance
Create a culture focused on employee safety, accountability and fulfillment.
Champion process safety management activities at the site, support compliance with the occupational health and safety program
Hold employees accountable for keeping themselves and colleagues safe at all times, actively work with the rest of the site to prevent and eliminate potential safety hazards
Ensure the effective and efficient maintenance of the facility with a culture of continuous improvement
Provide planning to ensure the reliability of the plant by utilizing predictive and preventative maintenance programs
Develop maintenance budgets and manager expenditure appropriately, lead the development of the five year capital plan for the factory
Develop and monitor departmental and site level performance measures; focus areas will be around asset health, PM completion, training completion and asset up-time
Develop leadership skills in the Engineering Team Leads and technical skills across the whole department
Ensure an inclusive and engaged workforce, equipped with the right skill set of precision maintenance ready for succession and promotion
In collaboration with finance and the site lead, develop an annual site budget and measure actual against the budget
You will be a Reliability Manager / Engineering Reliability Manager, ideally degree / equivalent qualified (in Reliability & Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, E&I Engineering ) and have experience in a strategic design and execution of a program role within an FMCG Food, Chemical or Automotive manufacturing environment.
You will be an engaging, positive and strong leader with a ‘can do’ mentality, with excellent problem solving skills as well as data driven with a continuous improvement mentality.
