We are seeking a Maintenance Specialist to join our friendly and motivated Maintenance Team.

The role is to manage the Maintenance Operations for the South Region(Isle of Grain across to Hallen), ensuring all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks are planned, actioned and/or mitigated and the work is controlled in line with the associated processes and procedures and minimise risk to people and the environment.
You will be liaising with Terminal Managers & Operations Supervisors in planning any maintenance activities and managing the budgets for the region. The successful candidate will manage a team of up to 8 Electrical and Mechanical Craftsman/Technicians, ensuring the delivery of the planned maintenance in accordance with internal and external stakeholders with a hands on and collaborative approach.

Qualification/Skills: You will need to have a relevant apprenticeship or associated qualifications, including those associated with Safety Management and controlling maintenance activity on an Upper Tier COMAH Site.In addition to this, you will be able to demonstrate experience within the oil and gas or chemical industry or a similarly regulated industry and in a similar role and including experience working on a COMAH Upper Tier site.
Ideally, you will have:
● Experience of maintenance on SCADA/DCS Systems
● Experience of HV/LV Systems
● Large rotating and associated equipment
You will have strong leadership and management skills together with experience of working with remote staff. The ability to communicate will ensure you are appositive influencer, who is passionate about driving and implementing change whilst taking ownership of issues and challenges. You will be self-motivated and hungry for success
Location: Based at either Hallen or Aldermaston to cover the south region. You will need to have a valid driving licence and willing to travel2/3 times a week to either Hallen or Aldermaston. Occasionally there may be overnight stays.
