You will be used to leading P&L, poses a Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems and the ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and schematics.
Engineering Manager Responsibilities include:
Ensure timely, efficient and cost-effective maintenance for site.
Continually pursue efficiency and cost improvements without sacrificing production efficiencies or plant reliability.
Provide clear leadership and vision, to inspire and motivate employees and to develop a high performing team.
Promote a strong health and safety culture so that inappropriate risk taking is eliminated and all employees participate in systematic, efficient and safe working practices
Ensure that the factory operates to maximise available production time
Responsible for developing and maintaining the planned maintenance system
Conduct equipment life span, obsolescence studies and develop appropriate upgrade / replacement strategies
Asset management to enable site to achieve its goals in the most efficient way possible so that the organisation’s limited financial and human resources can be leveraged most effectively
Ensure team are properly developed, resourced, supplied and managed to attain strategic objectives
Support the Facilities Manager with the planning and coordination of all installations and refurbishments
Drive continuous improvement in housekeeping within the maintenance areas in conjunction with the Production Maintenance Manager
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Participate in corrective action / Kaizen initiatives related to deficiencies and non-compliances with respect to response time, work quality, asset reliability
Maintain, track, and report all financial aspects of project including forecasts and billing
Develop and help execute comprehensive change management strategy and communication plan relative to project scope and stakeholders; orchestrate and lead change management methodologies underlying project success
You will be a Maintenance Manager / Engineering Manager with a proven track record of leadership and cultural change review strategically and operationally within a fast paced FMCG Manufacturing environment. This role will lead a team in excess of 50.
You will have the ability to productively assemble, engage, and lead cross-functional teams and be able to demonstrate project management ability.
