They now have a workforce of over 200 and are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the business. It’s been a really exciting time for the business in the past couple of years; they have heavily invested in plant upgrades, increasing their capacity but also efficiency. You’ll be working with a mixture of new and old equipment and potentially a range of installation and decommissioning projects for manufacturing lines and production machinery on site.

  • Inspections, repairs and routine maintenance
  • Troubleshooting and fault finding
  • Installation of equipment and machinery across various departments
  • Working closely with the Manufacturing teams to ensure all machines are running to their full potential
  • Ensure housekeeping is carried out to standards set by 5S
  • Carry out effective shift changeover communication routines
  • Timely and effective reporting of required information
Applicants must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of fault finding and diagnostic skills, be able to proactively respond to ever changing production demands and have the ability to engage and express ideas with other team members.

Strong verbal and numerical skills are essential in addition to a good understanding of IT and the ability to work with planned maintenance and stock control systems.

Demonstrating a respect for our company values and continuous improvement activities are essential, as well as promoting and maintaining a positive attitude to Health and Safety at all times.

Applicants must be self motivated and driven to achieve high standards of output at all times.
