My client is a forward thinking progressive company with offices located in various Cities across the UK and they are looking for The Associate Director of Infrastructure.

This person will possess the necessary experience, knowledge and technical expertise to act as a direct client contact and project manager on each commission entrusted to them. 

This person will also ideally be conversant in post planning detail design skills on Infrastructure schemes, including but not exhaustive to the following, Highway and Drainage design. Also they will need to understand utilities, including the diversion and review process.

The  Associate Director will  provide  essential  support  to  the Board Directors  for the management, marketing and administrative roles that are essential to the smooth running of the business. They will act as direct line manager for a number of more junior personnel in relation to both general office and project-related management issues.  The role will require excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and an ability to present the findings of a project or to represent the interests of the company in public.

Ideally you will have skills in the following key areas:
  • Highways Specification;
  • Detailed Horizontal Design;
  • Detailed Vertical Design (including cross sections and long sections, 3D modelling);
  • Detailed Pavement / Footway design;
  • Highway surface water drainage;
  • Signing & Lining;
