The successful Compliance Technologist will ensure compliance to official standards is maintained at all times. You will ideally be educated to degree/HND level and have experience in HACCP, COSHH, laboratory quality systems, BRC, customer codes of practice, internal auditing and possess good computer skills.
Please note, standard working hours for this role is Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm, however there will need to be an element of flexibility to cover shifts on an adhoc basis due to holidays and absences.
Compliance Technologist Key Responsibilities include:
Ensure compliance to official standards (CLAS, BRC & HACCP)
Be an example to the production team on correct procedures
Promote an environment of continuous improvement environment in regards to GMP, customer standards compliance, customer complaint reduction and audit readiness on all sites at all times
Effectively co-ordinate the team in the absence of senior members of staff
Ensure that all reasonable precautions with regard to ‘due diligence’ are taken
Provide cover for holidays / absences on an adhoc basis
Maintain spreadsheets and databases relevant to the Quality Department
You will have experience of working within a Quality / Technical team within a food or beverage FMCG manufacturers with an understanding of CLAS, BRC and HACCP. You will be a flexible, enthusiastic, passionate individual with excellent communication skills.
