An FMCG manufacturing company with a site based in Liverpool is currently seeking a Regulatory Specialist to join their Technical term on a permanent basis. The main purpose of the role is to understand and implement labelling requirements across the product portfolio, the Regulatory Specialist will report directly in to the Technical Manager.

Key accountabilities for Regulatory Specialist include –
  • Ensure compliance and accuracy of labels.
  • Be the main point of contact for questions and queries from different departments when it comes to regulatory/labelling requirements.
  • Liaise regularly with internal stakeholders regarding artwork and labelling updates.
  • Liaise with external stake holders in the absence of Technical Manager.
  • Ensure all guidance given to relevant stakeholders is clear and concise to avoid any errors further down the line.
  • Create ‘pack copy’ prior to necessary checks.
  • Set and meet project guidelines.
 To be considered for this role you will ideally have a food science degree (or similar), you must also have recently working within the regulatory team for a food or drink manufacturing  company and have strong IT skills. The successful individual will have excellent attention to detail, good communication skills and be self motivated.
