A leading FMCG Manufacturer is currently seeking an E-commerce Manager to join their Marketing team. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you’ll be responsible for driving the online commercial results and ensuring brand cohesion across online only retailers, retail partners’ online stores and the businesses own branded websites.

You’ll need to be as comfortable reviewing website analytics and proposing optimisation initiatives, as you are partnering with a member of the Sales team to present to their retailers your ideas on how they could improve performance of their products. You will have full autonomy of websites and you’ll be working alongside an agency partner to re‐platform and refresh the sites. E-commerce Manager responsibilities include:
Taking overall ownership and project management responsibility for own brand websites; working with external web agencies to oversee platform migration (end 2019/beginning 2020) and then working in partnership with these agencies to monitor and optimise performance.
Building and executing growth/marketing plans for our brands on platforms such as Amazon and eBay; acting as the key contact for these platforms.
Partnering with counterparts from our retail/distributor partners, to propose initiatives to gain increased exposure for our products and improve consumer acquisition and engagement.
Managing product listings to ensure accuracy across all online points of purchase and making sure the listings are informative and engaging.
Reviewing site metrics leading optimisation projects to do A/B & Multi‐variate testing to improve conversion rate, suggest new features/functionality and grow revenue.
Creating rich, relevant product content for e‐commerce as per the strategy by working closely with the Digital Content Manager, designers, agencies and other internal teams.

You will ideally be experienced within a start‐up or a fast‐growing company with a passion for understanding positioning and business models in a complex industry.
