Senior QC Scientific Officer:

Globally recognised and respected pharmaceutical manufacturer.

Commutable from Oxford - Bristol - bath - Reading - Gloster - Chelmsford - Andover - Chippenham - Stroud - Cheltenham - Baisingstoke 
  • Experienced QC Analyst
  • Hands on Co-ordination of daily tasks
  • Supervision of the team
  • Monday to Friday - Days only 
This role is ideally suited to a experienced QC coming from a Quality Control Chemistry background. It’s a role that will see you supervising a team, reporting into the section head and having client interaction. 


Your daily key responsibilities include but are not limited too:
  • The transfer of methodology into the lab
  • Be a part of the development of validation procedures in the lab
  • On the job training and mentoring
  • Analysis data and procedures for improvement
  • Ensuring cGMP is applied at all times
As the lead you will be:
  • Outline the weekly / daily plans and activities it the team
  • Measuring performance against targets and key performance matrix
  • Managing change control or CAPA actions
  • Handling escalations and further escalating when needed
  • Ensuring compliance across the team to cGMP standards and internal standards
  • Client facing aspects of the role when required
  • Coaching and mentoring the team
  • Identifying continuous improvement
What we looking for from you:
  • Degree in Chemistry / related field essential
  • Experience in instrumental and traditional analytical techniques
  • Effective communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others
